Golden Visa Revolution: Indians Flock as Dubai Slashes Residency Cost to Just ₹23 Lakhs!

Everyone dreams of being wealthy or living in a place where they can enjoy a luxurious lifestyle, complete with designer clothes, branded cars, and no taxes. One such country is Dubai. Most individuals prefer to live in Dubai permanently because of:

  • Rich and stable economy
  • Luxurious lifestyle opportunity
  • Tax-free income
  • Job market opportunities
  • Better infrastructure
  • High healthcare and education system
  • High security maintenance and a safe environment

However, if a person wants to move, they should invest at least Rs. 4 crores to buy properties, making it a costly move. Due to such limitations, not every middle-class family can afford to move to Dubai.

Recently, a story went viral on Indian social media about the UAE Golden Visa, sparking excitement across the country as people sought to capitalise on the opportunity to settle.

The Rayad Group, a group of companies in Dubai, created the spark of this golden opportunity and claimed that:

  • Outsiders, now, could secure a lifetime settlement by paying only Rs. 23 lakhs to the external consultancy services.
  • Golden Visa is a long-term visa permit that grants the right to work, live and study in Dubai to international individuals.
  • They are also allowed to bring their spouse and dependents to the country.
  • Furthermore, visa holders have significantly greater independence, enabling them to invite family members, own properties, establish businesses, and obtain a residency title.
  • They can even extend the periods for up to 10 years through the renewal process.

However, official statements dismissed such claims, stating that visa processes would occur exclusively through government channels within Dubai.

The authority also mentioned how foreign consultancy services are misleading the audience, informing them that they can obtain the Golden Visa outside the UAE, which is a false rumour.

Suppose you have lost the opportunity to apply for a visa for Dubai. In that case, you may still have a chance to obtain the Golden Visa under various categories, including investors, entrepreneurs, unique talents, excellent students, and humanitarian founders.

Five additional categories are introduced in 2025, including nurses, educators, content creators, e-sports professionals, and luxury yacht owners.
